In this first post I will give some idea or information about the beauty in Garut, West Java, Indonesia. There is a hidden paradise, precisely in the south and this Garut which I will share to you.

Garut does have a beautiful natural scenery. Garut is famous for its mountains that lie in every corner of the city of Garut. But who knows, Garut also has beautiful beaches and is suitable to be your destination.

Santolo Island in Pameungpeuk, Garut, Indonesia

One of the beautiful beaches in Garut is Santolo Indah beach. The beach is located in Pameungpeuk, precisely in the District Cikelet south of Garut city center. Distance Santolo Beach is approximately 80 km from Garut city center and can be reached approximately 3 hours by land travel. Although the trip is felt far and long, but the journey to the coast Santolo atmosphere is very pleasant. Why? On the island there is an estuary Santolo also called Cilauteureun estuary are quite popular. Cilauteureun name was taken because the sea water at the mouth is not moving in the direction of the sea, but returned to the estuary. It was said that such events can only be found in two places, namely in Santolo Garut and in the country of France.

How to get to Santolo Island?

To go Santolo, you can use existing public transport at the bus station Garut. You're looking for public transit to get to Pameungpeuk. Rates of public transport is cheap but a scar, only Rp. 2500, - to Rp. 5000, -. If you are in Cileunyi, you can use public transport to the Cikajang then proceed to Pameungpeuk.
